Another new film from C2C studios ...

As any Appalachian household can tell you, listening to C2C is a family affair. And, of course, the corporate suits in Coast's film division knows this too, which is why they've devised a strategy to bring Mom, Dad, and their 2.5 kids to the local cineplex to see the latest C2C vehicle.

The Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants tells the story of four aging esoteric hipsters who discover a magical pair of chinos which somehow fits each of them, despite wildly differing waist sizes. The four main characters are Georgie (the jock), Artie (the shy one), Hoagie (the drama queen), and Frieds (the rebel). The film follows their adventures trying to solve esoteric riddles, navigating the political minefield that is the local senior center, and, of course, finding a fair balance of ownership over the talismanic pants.

Can their friendship survive when Georgie needs the magical chinos for a hot date on the same night that Hoagie demands the pants for his "Hamsters, Chickens, and Aliens" symposium ? Will the timid Artie ever try on the enchanted chinos and can the gang avert the insane attempt by Frieds to set the pants on fire "to see if they will burn" ?

Critics who attended the advanced screenings of the film liken it to Wild Hogs, though whether or not that is a good thing is up to the individual viewer.
