The geniuses @ Coast to Coast AM recognize mainstream buzz better than anyone, which is why they knew they had to take advantage of all the hooplah surrounding this Summer's big chick flick: Sex and the City: The Movie.

As such, they threw a bunch of elements from SITC and C2C together and formed their own, would-be, powerhouse TV franchise: Coast and the City.

Melding these two worlds together was quite a challenge for the creative powers-that-be and they knew a delicate balance must be struck. Realizing that they could maintain the fashion-oriented elements of the Sex series while also centering the show around the C2C stars, they ultimately settled on the outlandish concept of a serial drama/comedy chronicling the friendship of four middle-aged esoteric researchers ... who also happen to be drag performers by night.

Noory Bradshaw, being the quasi-leader of this clique, acts as narrator of the show, as he details the group's struggles with the paranormal and pantyhose in bustling St.Louis with his weekly radio program "Coast and the City."

Insiders who have seen the pilot have expressed some concern for the program's future, despite cameos from both Jerome Corsi and Rupaul. Reportedly, test audiences overwhelmingly dubbed the program "creepy" and Richard C. Hoagland has pulled out of his role as Hoaglanda Hobbes until his character can be a blonde.
