BoA:Audio eschews questions in favor of conversation as we sit down with our good friend Peter Robbins for a wide-ranging discussion on the world of Ufology and the UFO phenomenon. We'll be talking about the Rendlesham Incident, fighting the malaise of Ufology, the hype leading up to 2012, issues surrounding UFO disclosure, and many other big topics that don't just include UFOs, but also go beyond and address troubles facing the world, at large.

It's an organic, evolving, and thought provoking BoA:Audio jam session with one of Ufology's most profound thinkers, Peter Robbins.

Full Preview: We kick things off by getting an update from Peter on what he's been up to since his last appearance on BoA:Audio. He also provides some great first-hand perspective on December 2010's Rendlesham 30th Anniversary event held in the UK. He speaks to the uniquely emotional nature of both the gathering and the incident itself. Peter also talks about how haunted the Rendlesham witnesses are, today, decades after the incident. We also talk about how Rendlesham differs from it's US counterpart, Roswell, in that most of the witnesses to the incident are still alive. Peter also responds to the recent news that the UK government had 'lost' the Rendlesham files.

The conversation then turns towards the mainstream media's fascination with celebrity culture and why the general public remains relatively disinterested in the UFO mystery. This segues into some talk about the malaise of Ufology in recent years and find out how Peter deals with that and keeps finding the motivation to keep looking at the UFO mystery. He also reflects on the rise of Exopolitics and contrasts it with the general push for UFO 'disclosure,' which is often wedded to the Exopol movement. Peter also talks about how his opinion in recent years has changed towards how he sees UFO disclosure unfolding.

Things turn reflective as we look inwards and ponder how people in the UFO research field are fortunate, in some sense, despite the slings and arrows of the community, to have the wherewithal to ponder this great mystery. We then get Peter's take on the hype surrounding 2012, what he thinks of prophecy in general, as well as his interpretation of the Mayan calendar story. He also talks about the frenzy surrounding the 5/21/11 'rapture' event. The talk then turns towards the recent Area 51 book and how the 'revelations' concerning Roswell will have a more deleterious effect of Ufology than many may have suspected.

A discussion on the recent mainstream portrayal of ETs and UFOs leads us to talking about the potential for a generational shift where the phenomenon will be overtly believed, regardless of what the government reveals about the mystery. This leads to some talk about ardent UFO skeptics, the mainstream media, and the recent rumblings from the Catholic Church regarding ETs. We then look at the big picture mystery of just who or what is behind the UFO phenomenon and get Peter's take, based on his decades of research into the phenomena, on that enigmatic question. He also reflects on the 'true believers,' who are certain that they know the source behind UFOs. This leads to Peter talking about his investigative style and the three men who served as his mentors in the UFO field.

Heading towards the close, we get reflective again and talk about how studying the UFO enigma can lead to one developing a more humbled approach to life. Peter talks about what he thinks is at the root of the ridicule factor for many people. Along the way, Peter reflects on the many problems facing this planet during these tumultuous times. Closing out the interview, Peter shares a collection of quotes from important politicians regarding UFOs and reflects on what they mean for the big picture of Ufology. And, as always, Peter shares an update on his upcoming projects and speaking engagements for 2011.
